Suppliers / Subcontractors
Phoenix International actively promotes the award of subcontracts to small and minority-owned businesses, including Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, HubZone Small Businesses, and Veteran-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Phoenix International provides each of these small and minority-owned businesses the greatest practicable opportunity to participate in its subcontracting programs.
To be considered a small business for U.S. government subcontracting purposes, a company must be an independently owned, for-profit entity with operations located primarily within the U. S. (or make a significant contribution to the U.S. economy through payment of taxes or use of American products, materials, or labor). The company must also meet the size standard for the North American Industry Classification System of the product or service provided per the subcontract. The requirements to self-certify or to be independently determined to be a minority business can be found on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s website, together with additional information regarding how to qualify as a small business. Please visit the U.S. Small Business Administration’s website at www.sba.gov.
