For Immediate Release – March 26, 2018:
Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. (Phoenix), a leading supplier of underwater solutions worldwide, announces transition from ISO 9001:2008 standard to ISO 9001:2015 certification.
ISO 9001, the world’s most widely used quality management standard, is periodically updated to reflect modern business challenges. The new 2015 version of ISO 9001 is the result of inputs from business and technical experts and requires greater involvement of senior management and a broader understanding of supply chains. Further, it sharpens a company’s focus on risk, ensuring that risk is considered from the beginning to the end of a process, with the goal of having an organization’s many processes operate as a single, integrated system directed at always meeting customer requirements.
Phoenix has maintained ISO 9001 registration for 10 years with DNV-GL as its Quality Registrar and is one of the few ISO 9001 certified underwater services providers operating worldwide. Commenting on the new certification, Patrick Keenan, President of Phoenix stated, “Upgrading to and maintaining the new ISO 9001:2015 standard of Phoenix’s quality management system demonstrates our commitment to continual improvement and assures customers that we have a demonstrated capacity to deliver underwater services per client specifications.”
